How to request deletion of your Sona account and personal data.

How to request account deletion

To delete your Sona account and associated data, email our privacy team:

Send your request to: privacy@pelagohealth.com

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

Include in your email:

  • The email address (or phone number) associated with your Sona account
  • Your full name as it appears in the app
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account

Our team will verify your identity and process your request. You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been deleted.

Data that will be deleted

When your account deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your account profile information (name, email address, phone number)
  • Conversation transcripts and audio recordings
  • Insights, skills, streams, and any personalized content generated about you
  • Progress tracking data and conversation history
  • App preferences and settings
  • Any other personal data you provided to the app

Data retention

We are committed to deleting your data promptly and completely.

Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Certain records may be retained for up to 90 days for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes. These records are kept in accordance with applicable laws and are not used for any other purpose. After the retention period, all remaining data will be permanently deleted.

Note that our AI and voice processing providers (Amazon Web Services and ElevenLabs) may retain conversation data on their systems in accordance with their own retention policies. See our Privacy Statement for details.

Important information

  • Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
  • Active subscriptions should be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play before requesting deletion.
  • Processing time may vary, but you will receive confirmation within 30 days.
